Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints began in the United Kingdom in 1837 where there are now around 190,000 members, part of a global community of over 16 million. A key tenet is religious tolerance: ‘We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all . . . the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.’

Church representatives are active participants in worldwide FoRB forums, including at the EU and the UN. The Church supports the work of the International Center for Law and Religion Studies (Provo, Utah, USA).
