APPG FoRB meets with the Falun Dafa Association

The APPG FoRB met with the Falun Dafa Association from the United Kingdom to discuss the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

During the meeting, the practitioners discussed reports of transnational repression, imprisonment, torture, and deaths in custody, with some deaths being the result of organ harvesting targeting prisoners of conscience.

Becky James, Misha Halu, and Caroline Yates are all Falun Dafa practitioners who spoke about their advocacy efforts to raise awareness and encourage action against these human rights violations. The APPG FoRB is committed to raising awareness and bringing these issues forward to Parliament.

The APPG FoRB will be hosting an event on June 10th focused on religious persecution in China.
