Statement: Zafar Bhatti

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Zafar Bhatti, who suffered a fatal heart attack over the weekend. His death comes just two days after he was acquitted, following 13 years of wrongful imprisonment under Pakistan’s blasphemy laws. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Nawab, and with his family and friends at this difficult time.
